The problem is that it works great at the end of a movie.
Real life isn’t always that neat.
Just because you realize it,
Doesn’t mean the object of your affection happens to be in the same place.
And that’s the trouble
As much as you think you know
You really don’t.
Because you can’t think about it.
For all the planning, hoping, wishing and dreaming
There isn’t a plan-
It just happens.
You have to be standing in the right place
At the right time
Next to the right person
Who wants the same thing.
Pay your fare
Take a ride
A journey for a lifetime,
It’s very cool.
And a whole lot of fun.
And that’s how you get the rest of your life started as soon as possible,
Or you can just star in a Rob Reiner film.
