So I met a new friend
Under the most rare of occasions
Just chatting it up at a bar
A very nice bar
But a bar
And she’s cool
Way cool
Drinking beer at a way cool bar-
There’s so much to learn
So little known
But the buzz is there
The curiosity
The chase
I know I’m interested
I just don’t know if I measure up
She’s just so rare
Disconnected
Yet fully engaged
Smart
But incredibly sassy
With the cred to back it up
So I guess I’ll play it out
Like the hand you draw at the poker table
It has potential
Bet big
And take home the prize
