Movin’ On

Time to pack up

Farm living was the life for me

But the farm was sold

So time for a new key

Gonna miss the criminal critters

The ones that escaped ever so often

And the ensuing chase around the neighborhood

With bridles and cops in tow

There’s a lot to be said

About living on the edge

Out where you can still see the stars

And traffic includes tractors and hay wagons

But like all things

Time keeps moving forward

And progress requires keeping up

So I’ve chosen to move

To a slick new spot

Closer to you

Probably

But I’ll always have that farm spirit

And the freedom of taking it slow

Just watching nothing happen

And really enjoying it
